Considering my experiences so far, especially considering my experiences so far, it seems weird that I should have kept such a strong hold on my hopes. I always had hopes. I always wanted good things to happen, but it was always "I hope that happens to me." It's amazing how much easier being a hopeful romantic is when you start to do instead of try. I don't want to hope good things come to me any longer.

blargh blargh

Haven't posted in a month. Came to post that I'm drinking champagne straight out of the bottle. It was opened to celebrate Girl and I both getting those little pieces of paper in the mail that confirm we went to school for four years. Oh, I drink to that!

Still blargh. Can't seem to not be depressed. Need to get on it next week. Cheapo slim living, that's the life for me.

Still haven't finished that stupid report. It's the most boring report ever. I hate business.

Ironically enough, I went to a gala tonight for work. I found myself wanting the recognition. At least if my dreams die, I can always chase cooler spinsterhood by dedicating my life to my career. Then I, too, shall be honored at the DTC Hyatt.
